How do I grab?

Its simple! Visit the What's for Grab? section and browse for category you are interested in. All 'in stock' options will be displayed. Just add to the cart and make the payment by selecting one of the payment options.

Are prices negotiable?
We respect your right to ask for lower prices. However, please understand that effort involved in growing the plants or curating the products for you and giving you the benefit of receiving them at your doorstep involves a lot of effort. Therefore, we would respect you even more if you do not negotiate. Discounts, if applicable, will be mentioned upfront.

Are you sure you provide the correct botanical names of the plants?
☹ Do you know almost every genus of plants undergo revision/reclassification/regrouping from time to time. Its almost impossible to keep abreast of all these changes happening in the botanical world. We will however, try our best to provide you the botanical and/or common names as accurately as possible but do not guarantee that there would be no mistakes.

Shipping

How do you ship?
We use almost all major domestic shipping companies. If you have a specific shipping company that you prefer, please let us know. In case the preferred shipping company charges a higher amount than we have budgeted, we will request you to pay the difference. As soon as you order is shipped from our end, you will receive the tracking details on your registered email address submitted at the time of placing the order.

How long do you take to ship after the payment is made?
We need to make sure your selected plants/products are in optimum condition to withstand the rigors of the journey they will undertake in reaching you. We therefore will take a minimum of 7 days to dispatch the selected plants/products. In case we take more than that, we will try our to communicate the delay, however do reach out to us in case you are in a hurry to receive your order.

Do you charge extra for shipping?
Yes, we charge extra for shipping and the amount, depending on the volume of selected plants, would be mentioned clearly in the Invoice sent to you. You need to make the payment only after you have received the Invoice from us.

What about damages in shipping?

We are really concerned that you should receive plants/products in the pink of their health and we pack them with utmost care accordingly. However, we cannot take responsibility for damages to the plants/products on account of mishandling or delay by the shipping agencies.

Do you ship the plants with pot and media?
Wish we could! But, its not possible and feasible to do so. The prices quoted by us would be for bare root plants – this means no media and no pot. Plants are uprooted and dried in shade for at least 2-3 days so that all superficial moisture goes away and they are safely dispatched.

Do you have Cash on Delivery (COD) option?
No, we do not have Cash on Delivery option and all Invoices need to be paid for in advance.

What are the Payment options?
All major modes of payment are accepted.

Cancellations and Returns

Can I cancel the grab after the Payment has been made?
We are sure that you would have carefully selected the plants/products and made the payment only after you were comfortable in grabbing from us. As such, once the payment has been made, cancellations are not possible.

Can I return the order?
All sales are explicitly on non-returnable basis. Please understand that once the plants/products have left our premises, we really do not have much control on how the package is handled by the shipping agency. We do however, try our best to pack your order in the most optimal manner so that there are no casualties on the way.

I am not happy with what I received, what do I do?
Contact us. We will ensure that what you spent on your purchase from us is justified. How? Don’t ask – just contact us. Afterall, we would want you to not only come back for repeat purchases but also refer us to your friends. Do remember, for every successful referral would mean a surprise gift from us. 😊

I have received my order, yay! Ok, so what do I do now?
We assumed since you Grabbed plants from us, you would know how to go about planting them and taking care of them. In case you still need help, please feel free to reach out to us and we will try to share care tips to the best of our experience.

The plant/s that I grabbed died within a few days, Im so disappointedðŸ˜. What do I do?
Please do understand that when you Grab plants from us, we expect that you not only know how to care for them but also know the best season/climate for them to transplant, best media to plant them in and the optimum watering requirements post transplanting. Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done in case your grabbed plants did not survive post planting at your end.

I have a major disagreement on the transaction and have a grievance/dispute. How can I get this grievance redressed?

Seriously? We are in the business of providing joy to fellow hobbyists and therefore would not let the situation come to this level. 😊 Rest assured, we will reach an amicable settlement!

I will post about my grievance/dispute on Social Media. Will that ensure you REFUND/REPLACE my Grab?

As mentioned in the Terms of Use, dragging The Plant Studio in any negative publicity for the purpose of seeking refunds/replacements or damaging the reputation of The Plant Studio in a way that impacts its business, is strictly prohibited. It has already been clarified that plants are perishable commodities and once these leave our premises, we have no control on how these are handled by logistics agencies or delays caused by them.

Gift Cards

How do can I purchase gift cards?
You can visit the gift card page. When buying for your friends/family, just select an amount, enter the recipient's details, set when you want the card delivered, and pay. After completing checkout, you will receive an email confirmation on the registered of the purchase.
TIP: Hey, you can buy the gift card for yourself too. 😊 Sometimes, we will be running promotions/discounts on gift cards and you can grab the discount for redeeming at a later date.

How do gift card recipients get their cards?
​
The gift card recipient gets an email with the subject line "You just got a gift card from Michael Jones" (with the relevant name). Their unique gift card code appears in the email.

How do recipients redeem gift cards at checkout?
​
To redeem the gift card, the recipient heads over to www.ThePlantStudio.com and finds items to purchase. During payment, select the Redeem a gift card option and enter their unique gift card code.

What happens if the order total is more than the remaining gift card value?

If the purchase value is worth more than the value/balance of the card, you can pay for the remaining cost using your regular payment methods.

Can gift card holders check the balance?

Currently, it is not possible to check the gift card balance.

What is the validity of the Gift Card?
​
The Gift Cards are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. The balance of the Gift Card will become null and void upon the expiry of 12 months from the date of purchase. The expiration date will always be considered from the date of issuance. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash. Except as provided hereunder or as per applicable law, amount in your Gift Cards will not be refunded to you under any circumstances. No refund will be provided in cash, at any point of time. No interest will be payable by either The Plant Studio or its Gift Card Partner on any Gift Card or Gift Card balance. The Plant Studio makes no representation or warranty that www.ThePlantStudio.com will always be accessible without interruption.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction: The terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You, The Plant Studio or its Gift Card Partner each agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Haryana. You agree to indemnify The Plant Studio or its Gift Card Partner for all claims brought by a third party against it or its affiliates arising out of or in connection with a breach of any of these terms and conditions.
